Bout of Books 11.0 – Wrap Up

BoB11-200x200The Bout of Books read-a-thon is organized by Amanda @ On a Book Bender and Kelly @ Reading the Paranormal. It is a week long read-a-thon that begins 12:01am Monday, August 18th and runs through Sunday, August 24th in whatever time zone you are in. Bout of Books is low-pressure, and the only reading competition is between you and your usual number of books read in a week. There are challenges, giveaways, and a grand prize, but all of these are completely optional. For all Bout of Books 11 information and updates, be sure to visit the Bout of Books blog. – From the Bout of Books team

So my first read-a-thon kinda didn’t go that great. I managed to finish two of my books, and I got about a quarter through the third one. Oh well. There’s always a next time…

This is my Sunday Update:

Number of books I’ve read today: 1.

Total number of books I’ve read: I’m assuming only finished books, which would be 1.

Books: “Landing” by Emma Donoghue (finished), “Wicked” by Gregory Maguire (not finished); read today: “White Cat” by Holly Black (finished).

Pages read today: 166.

Total number of pages read: 403 physical pages plus 58% on my Kindle.

So wrapping it all up – altogether I finished “Landing” by Emma Donoghue and “White Cat” by Holly Black and I read a bit of “Wicked” by Gregory Maguire. That means a meagre 403 pages and 58% on kindle, which is an embarrassment! I usually tend to read 400 in a day, easily.

Let’s hope the next Bout of Books read-a-thon will go better for me and life won’t be interfering as much!

Let me know how your reading went!

Have a great week!

— Alina xx
